The Cincinnati Red Legs are owned by Shannon Knemeyer, one of the original OOSL Founders.

These Cincinnati Red Legs were one of the original OOSL National League Franchises. They have been captained by Shannon Knemeyer throughout their entire OOSL history. Their five-year National League record stands at 444-326 for a .577 winning percentage -- the second best career mark in OOSL history. They have captured four Division titles, and one League title. They have never finished lower than second place, and are the only team besides the Giants to have won 100 games in a single season. They have a 10-19 record in post-season play for a .345 winning percentage.

Base ball the Red Legs way has been typified by a solid lineup 1-8 and an equally deep staff. Jimmy "Double X" Foxx and Duke Snider have been the leaders of that offensive machine, with Foxx driving in 117 runs in consecutive seasons (`97-98). The Duke topped the century mark himself in `97, and just missed in `98, knocking in 95 teammates in that campaign. But big performances from such notables as "Sliding Billy" Hamilton, Chick Hafey, new HOF member George Brett and house favorite Tip O'Neill are also a big part of the Cincinnati formula for victory.

In 1997 Harry Brecheen and Tim Keefe both were members of the select 20 win circle, and last year new Red Legs hurler Randy Johnson just missed that mark, picking up 18 victories while notching an NL record 260 K's. "The Terminator", Tom Henke, has handled the closing duties since day one and is one of the league's best. Tom paced the senior circuit with 38 saves in 1997. Henke has saved over 30 balsams in three straight seasons enroute to a lifetime total of 138.
